200micron reverse printing backlit film takes 175micron PET film as the base film, and then coat with 25micron of special material, which makes it suitable for water based inks such as dye ink and pigment ink.
Backlit film is a displaying and advertising media widely used in the scene such as light box, subway, airport, etc. And reverse printing backlit film is suitable for back lighting box.
As the reverse printing backlit film usually adopts water based ink, the prints would usually have a secondary processing of cold laminating, which offer protection from water and extend the prints shelf life.
What Is Backlit Film?
Backlit film is a printing film used for outdoor and indoor advertising and displaying. It takes PET film as the base film, and then coated with different material for meeting different printing purposes.
Backlit film can be classified into front printing and reverse printing two types. The front printing backlit film is suitable for inks of dye ink(support both water based type and oily type), pigment ink(both water based type and oily type), UV ink, solvent ink(support both solvent ink and eco-solvent ink). The reverse printing backlit film support water based dye ink and pigment ink(both water based and oily type).
Backlit film is usually in paper core of 2 inch(means 50.8mm diameter of inner paper core), and the stardard width includes 610mm(24''), 914mm(36''), 1070mm(42''), 1118mm(44''), 1270mm(50''), 1520mm(60''), 1600mm(63''), 1650mm(65''), 1880mm(74''). With a popular roll length of 30m or 50m. Customized width is also accepted in PNP Film.
