What Is Cold Peel DTF Film?

Cold Peel DTF Film is a specially engineered transfer medium designed for direct-to-film printing. Unlike hot peel variants, it allows the printed transfer to cool completely before removal, ensuring sharper detail and more consistent color adhesion on a wide range of textile substrates.

The film features a micro-porous coating layer that absorbs ink rapidly while maintaining dimensional stability under high-resolution print heads. This makes it ideal for shops running Epson, modified Epson, or dedicated DTF printers at production speeds.

Key Performance Advantages

Cold peel technology reduces the risk of ink smearing and fiber distortion that can occur with hot peel methods. The transfer releases cleanly from the film once fully cooled, leaving crisp edges even on fine text and intricate graphics.

Our cold peel film is compatible with both water-based pigment inks and specialized DTF inks, offering flexibility for different production setups. The adhesive powder bonds uniformly, producing wash-fast prints rated for 50+ industrial wash cycles.

Fabric Compatibility

Works exceptionally well on 100% cotton, CVC, polyester, nylon, and cotton-poly blends. No pre-treatment is required, significantly reducing prep time compared to DTG workflows.

Specifications

Available in 30cm and 60cm roll widths with 100m per roll. Film thickness is calibrated at 75 microns for optimal heat press performance at 150-160°C with 15-second press time. Each roll is individually quality-inspected for coating uniformity and winding tension.
