Front Print Backlit Film and Reverse Print Backlit Film

Backlit film is the printing material for pictorial machine, and t here are two backlit films in the market currently: front print backlit film and reverse print backlit film, and they have different application fields.

Front printing backlit film is printed directly by a pictorial machine, and there is not much difference in printing effect whether the light is turned on or not. While we need to choose a mirror printing for the reverse printing backlit film, and we need a light that is turning on for a better printing effect as the backlit film is set inside the backlit, the printing effect would be poor if without light or light is poor.

The printing effect on front backlit film is much better than reverse print backlit film.  In addition, as the inkjet ink for reverse print backlit film is usually water-bas ed, it is required that we laminating the backlit film with a cold lamination film for waterproof and better protection.

Printing accuracy is the judging criteria for evaluating a backlit film, the accuracy for a high-end backlit film with imported environmentally-friendly original ink can reach 2,880 dpi, which means the printed picture will be clear and exquisite, after lighting,  the color is bright and clear which is with good vision, high contrast ratio, high saturation, and rich layer effect. And the backlit film also has the property of waterproof, anti-UV, not faded, and resistant to high temperature and low temperature. While an ordinary backlit film is not as much good as high-end backlit film and a backlit film which adopts an indoor  water-based ink should be kept away from direct sunlight, or else the problem such as aging, discoloration will occur.

Compared in a similar condition, the price for a reverse printing backlit film is lower than the price for a front printing backlit film, and this difference makes the reverse print backlit film enjoy more popularity among the markets, while front printing backlit film also takes an important rule as its high performance in precious product marketing such as jewelry.
